The Satoha village is situated three kilometre east of Khamani. Here king Santanu worshipped the Sun god, desiring a son. The village’s name Satoha is derived from the name of Santanu Maharaja. Here there is Sri Santanu Kunda, Sri Krishna Balarama Mandira and Sri Bihariji Mandira.

It is mentioned in Sri Bhakti Ratnakara: “Behold the spotless water of the pond in Satoha Grama! Here Santanu Muni performed penances.”
