Khelana Vana (Seragada)

Seragada is situated two kilometre west of Sri Rama Ghata and three kilometre north of Astauli. In the village are temples of Sri Dauji, Sri Radha-Krsna, Sri Mahadeva and Sri Hanuman. Here Sri Krsna and Balarama are playing different games with Their friends. Here one can see Sri Balarama Kunda.

How to get there: You can easily go to this place by Auto from Vrindavana.

Sri Khelanvan Raman Bihari Mandira

Mentioned in Sri Bhakti Ratnakara : “Behold this Khelana Vana – here the two brothers Krsna-Balarama played with Their friends. They did not have to endeavour for food, because Their mothers had carefully arranged for that. This Khelana Vana, or play forest, is called Sri Khela Tirtha.”

Khelana Vana is situated on the bank of Sri Yamuna, next to Seragada. Here Sri Krsna and His chums sometimes danced like peacocks, sometimes played with rods, sometimes mounted each other’s shoulders and so on, hence it is called Khelana Vana.
